By confirming your order or registering you agree to these General Terms and Conditions unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you in writing in a particular case.

Order confirmation

Your order may be confirmed by email or by way of signed order confirmation.

 

Price

The price includes the services stated in your quotation and/or the order confirmation. It does not include equipment that is usually available in conference rooms (projectors, flip charts, notice boards, cameras, monitors, etc.).

 

Travel expenses and accommodation costs of our speakers or training facilitators

Unless otherwise agreed in the quotation, travel expenses and accommodation costs are charged as follows: typical local mileage allowance, plane or train ticket, transfer from/to airport/railroad station, accommodation, and meals (the evening before the first day up to end of the event).

Canceling in-house events

As we plan long term, we kindly ask you to understand that if you cancel after placing an order (regardless of your reasons for canceling it), you will incur costs in the following cases:

  • Training/workshop: Cancellation is free of charge up to 4 weeks before the start of the event; after that, we charge 50% of the cost or, if you cancel one week (5 working days) before the start of the event, the full cost. These cancellation terms also apply for postponement.

  • In the case of collaborative events, the relevant collaborator's cancellation terms also apply, provided that you receive the invoice from them.

 

We kindly ask you to understand that cancellations and postponements can only be accepted in writing.

Online Transfer Toolbox

Many of our in-house programs (e.g. the Transfer Fast Track and the Transfer Designer Certification) include temporary or permanent access to the Online Transfer Toolbox. The Online Transfer Toolbox is provided by our partner bildungsinnovator.de. To set up the included online access, participants' email addresses are forwarded to bildungsinnovator.de, where they are stored for the corresponding period of use (temporary or permanent) and then completely deleted. At no time will the email addresses be used for any purpose other than access to the Online Transfer Toolbox. Users will not receive any advertising emails, newsletters, etc. The terms and conditions of bildungsinnovator.de apply to the use of the Online Transfer Toolbox. If you do not wish to use the Online Transfer Toolbox for your in-house programs, please inform us in written form when placing the order.

Registration

You can register via www.transfereffectiveness.com or by email. Registration is always binding.

 

Program fee

Our prices include all documentation and materials. The participation fee does not include any accommodation costs, including dinner and breakfast, your food and drinks on-site, or any other additional costs.
In the case of collaborative events, the collaborator's terms apply in respect of meals.
Our prices are quoted excluding VAT unless stated otherwise.

 

Venue

Our training is held at conference venues in hotels. If you need a room for the duration of your event, let us know when you register. We will be happy to book it for you. We ask you to pay the hotel bill yourself at the hotel. You must bear any cancellation fees incurred.

Canceling open programs and workshops

As we plan long term, we kindly ask you to understand that if you cancel after registering for one of our open programs (regardless of your reasons for canceling), you will incur costs in the following cases:

  • Training/workshop: Cancellation is free of charge up to 4 weeks before the start of the event (in-person seminars); after that, we charge 10% of the cost or, if you cancel one week (5 working days) before the start of the event, 20% of the cost. If you cancel due to illness, you will not be charged if you provide appropriate proof, provided that you participate next time the same program/training is held. 

  • In the case of collaborative events, the relevant collaborator's cancellation terms also apply, provided that you receive the invoice from them.

 

We kindly ask you to understand that cancellations and postponements can only be accepted in writing.​

Online Transfer Toolbox

Many of our open programs (e.g. the Transfer Fast Track and the Transfer Designer Certification) include temporary or permanent access to the Online Transfer Toolbox. FOR ALL EVENTS

Payment terms

Our invoices are payable when issued, without any deductions.
In the event of late payment, we charge for all reminder and collection costs as well as 12% interest on arrears.
The customer does not have the right to withhold payments or offset them against their own claims.

 

Cancellations by the Institute for Transfer Effectiveness

The Institute for Transfer Effectiveness can cancel events because of absences due to illness or circumstances that it has no control over, and it cannot be held liable for the event not taking place.

The minimum number of participants for open programs and training depends on the training or program. For organizational reasons, we reserve the right to change the location of the training, the date and the trainer, and to cancel training or a program if necessary. The customer or the trainees will be informed of the change/cancellation and of possible alternatives by telephone or by email.

 

Copyright

The documentation provided by us is and will remain the intellectual property of the Institute for Transfer Effectiveness and, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, is solely provided to our trainees for their personal use in order to apply what they have learned (i.e. not for commercial purposes as a trainer, for example). Other distribution and use of this material, including internally, is subject to our prior written consent.

 

Confidentiality

We work for various companies that are often in competition with each other. We are committed to absolute confidentiality, which does of course include matters on a personal level, too.

 

TRANSFER TOOLBOX

The Online Transfer Toolbox is provided by our partner bildungsinnovator.de. If you order access to the Online Transfer Toolbox via our website, we will forward your e-mail address to bildungsinnovator.de. Bildungsinnovator.de will contact you via email with all the information about setting up your requested access and will send you the corresponding terms and conditions of use, which only become valid upon your acceptance of the offer.

 

LEGAL VENUE

 

The court of jurisdiction in Haag (Austria) is agreed as the legal venue for all disputes that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement.
